Toyota has launched new and improved heavy duty genuine tray bodies for LandCruiser 70 Series.

The heavy duty Toyota Genuine Tray Bodies are available in alloy and steel and are specifically designed to suit LandCruiser 70 Series cab chassis models.

Toyota has professionally engineered its genuine body tray range for an optimum balance of strength and durability to weight.

"The new heavy duty trays are stronger, yet not heavier, and continue to deliver reliable quality and functionality," said Toyota Australia's divisional manager of customer services, Matthew Callachor.

New features of the heavy duty alloy and heavy duty steel trays include an oversized tapered round-tube headboard, wide round-tube steel stirrups, steel rear window protector, tail-light protector and tail-light wiring guard to withstand the harshest environment.

"LandCruisers are a hard working tool-of-trade and Toyota Genuine tray bodies are designed to provide strength where it is needed without placing undue stress on the chassis and suspension," said Mr Callachor.

The trays feature heavy duty drop sides and headboard ladder rack ears for added convenience and versatility.

The steel tray body incorporates drop-side stiffeners and a drop-side support kit to maintain rigidity when used with the tailgate removed.

The heavy duty steel tray also offers flooring options of chequer-plate or flat steel or Australian hardwood.

LandCruiser's body trays are built to match the vehicle and are stylish, strong and practical.

All steel tray types can be ordered as colour-coded items to match the vehicle paint code.

The new Toyota Genuine tray models feature anti-rattle latches with knobs, tapered headboard, quick-hitch design rope rails and zinc annealed mudguards.

The internal length of both trays is 2400mm.

The tray body mounting system is fundamental to the vehicle/tray dynamic. It has been designed to carry not just the tray but the whole load.

Optional accessories such as the headboard tyre hanger allow LandCruiser owners to tailor their heavy duty tray to individual needs.

All Toyota Genuine Tray bodies carry a three-year/100,000km warranty when fitted at the time of new vehicle purchase.
