Toyota Australia recently presented a leisure boat to Gary and Deann Robinson of Mundubbera in Queensland, the winners of the Upgrade Your Life competition.

Mr Robinson, along with every new Kluger owner, had the chance to win the Quintrex 520 Freedom Sport Bowrider when he purchased selected Toyota Genuine accessories for his new SUV.

"My wife and I were shocked but excited to hear we had won a boat - it's always been on the wish list," said Mr Robinson.

"There's not a lot of water in the Burnett River at the moment, but we'll be taking the boat to the coast on our holidays from now on.

"It certainly worked out well that we had the Kluger fitted with a towbar," he said.

Matthew Callachor, divisional manager of Toyota's customer service division, says uptake of Toyota Genuine accessories on Kluger has been phenomenal.

"Toyota sold 4420 new-generation Klugers between the vehicle's launch in August 2007 and the end of the promotion on 30 November," he said.

"During that time alone, new Kluger owners purchased over $5 million in accessories."

The Upgrade Your Life competition focused on four key Toyota Genuine accessories designed to add versatility to Kluger - roof racks, alloy nudge bar, 2000kg towbar and sidesteps.
