Toyota Australia has reduced the price on a selection of heavy mechanical parts to encourage the repair industry to use only Toyota Genuine parts on Toyota vehicles.

For a limited time of 12 months Toyota has reduced the list price on 12 key heavy mechanical parts lines, covering over 300 individual parts.

Divisional manager for Toyota's customer service division, Matthew Callachor, says Toyota owners expect repairers to use genuine parts in their vehicles, especially if the vehicles are still under warranty.

"By reducing the price of these typically expensive heavy mechanical vehicle parts, Toyota is now assisting repairers to meet customer expectations.

"Toyota Genuine Parts are thoroughly researched, developed and tested to the specifications of each Toyota model to ensure safety and durability.

"They are a guaranteed perfect fit first time and every time," said Mr Callachor.

The price reductions of up to 60 per cent cover selected crankshafts, cylinder blocks, cylinder heads, diff carrier assemblies, engine assemblies, injection pumps, short blocks, partial engines and two types of diff carrier sub-assemblies and transmissions.

All Toyota Genuine parts are supplied by Australia's number one car company, guaranteeing dependability and peace-of-mind backing.

The new pricing on heavy mechanical Toyota Genuine parts is available for 12 months, and became effective from 15 January 2008.
